Fish n Chips

After cycling at East Coast Park, time to go feed stomach.
As per plan, we head toward Han's for set meal - Fish n Chips.

Why planned? Because the last time we went for coffee at Han's, realising their set meal is not expensive.

Soup of the day + Main course + Tea/Coffee/Orange juice OR Ice Lemon Tea + Dessert ranged from $8.80 to $15.90~~

Of course, Fish n Chips is the cheapest, $8.80.

Not a pleasent experience!

WHY

Is a "self serive restaurant", you pay at counter and collect your food at counter (like KFC, McD..). Because the main course need tme to cook, therefore they will serve when is done.

The soup of the day, drinks and dessert (piece of honeydew) are the ready items that you may collect "on the spot".

While waiting for the counter staff to place these few food on my tray, there was this old lady brought toward the counter 2 pieces of honeydew said want to exchange to garlic bread.

It was very kind of the staff, agreed to change for her. But you know what! That staff directly took one piece of honeydew from the plate that old lady brought to counter and place on my plate! Oh My God!

I'm upset. One may say I am fussy. Whatever.............

I would said the staff is kind because "fulfiling" customer's needs. But is wrong for him/her placing that piece of honeydew in my plate directly (*somemore is infront of me).

You never know anything "happened" to that food along the journey from counter to seat and from seat back to counter (even it looked ok).
Is the food still hygine?

Sigh. Totally distort my mood for dinner...........and i was mumbling & nagging.......

I would not go back for meal again.........for coffee? Maybe...............
